On September 22nd all 16 national intelligence agencies will be able to share information using a social networking site, called A-Space. Sounds like a great idea as long as it is secure from hackers and the office of the Vice President. No word on why they chose such a lame name.

The article doesn't address the issue of data retention. Will they be keeping a permanent log? And if so, won't they someday have to release it under the Freedom of Information Act when it all gets declassified years down the road? If so, it's going to be a fascinating read someday.
