Wow the lion takedown of the giraffe in the 1st clip is amazing. Watching the little gazelle get eaten alive in the 2nd clip was pretty sad though, it's just sitting there looking at the camera while the lions all take bites out of its body.

Lion vs. Giraffe is awesome. The way it jumps on the giraffe's back and takes it down is just how I would do it.

Lion vs. Elephant is a very misleading title. I didn't see any elephants. If I had to name that one I would call it "Lion's greatest hits".

Lion vs. Hippopotamus is kind of surprising. I would have expected the hippo to be a lot more pissed off and aggressive toward the lion that's biting a chunk out of its back. Instead it just seems to sit there like it doesn't even notice. Contrast with this hippo:

That is even more incredible. I can't believe it, not only did the hippo stand up for the impala but then tries to comfort and revive it. Pretty sweet thing to do in a dog eat dog, or rather everything eat everything, kind of place.

Yeah I've always heard hippos described as being vicious and dangerous beasts, so it's cool to see a tender hippo moment.

Dude, the lion is the pimp of the animal kingdom. He doesn't even have to do any hunting himself, if he doesn't want to, he just sends his lionesses out to get the food, and they do it. According to that second clip, they'll even team up on a full-sized giraffe if he wills it. Not exactly the most feminist of animals.

Contrast that with the Hippo, who, if Bob's clip is to be believed, is the Batman of the animal world.

It's so sad when he can't bring the gazelle back to life.

Hippoman would not make a very good comic book.
