This is just stupid:
This is just stupid:
Apparently, Hillary Clinton had some kind of big contest to decide her official campaign song. Here's a rather mind-numbing commercial she made to promote it, featuring Bill and apparently paying homage to the final episode of "The Sopranos."

Nice to see that our potential future leaders are keeping busy with important issues.

She just creeps me out. Like the highschool librarian who takes her job way too seriously.

Bill's looking good though.

I don't like this trend toward politicians cranking out shitty Youtube videos trying to start or capitalize on viral memes.

It's obviously an attempt to reach out to a younger market (after all, dumb comedy videos are somehow very popular on youtube) - and who knows, maybe it works. But I think that there is a way to display a sense of humor, while still retaining some of the intelligence that many of us still consider an important factor in these elections.

And in case you haven't seen it, here's Republican Mike Huckabee's embarrassing attempt to cash in on the Chuck Norris jokes which were big for about two days last year:

What really bothers me about that ad is that NONE of the Chuck Norris jokes in it are original. They're all just stolen from the internet. Which means that if you're in the target demographic (ie. people that find Chuck Norris funny) you've definitely already heard them and recognize it as a feeble attempt to cash in on Chuck's popularity. Which is really anti-popularity since the Chuck Norris jokes are ironic jokes at his expense.

"Chuck Norris doesn't endorse, he just tells america how it's going to be" - come on that's f*&*en hilarious! It won't get me to vote for the guy but its funny.

I don't know. It makes him look mighty unprofessional to me, and seems like such a blatant attempt to grab my vote (through forced and unfunny humor), that it makes me a little uneasy.
