This is a pretty interesting article from Esquire about the life of Donn Pearce, the author of Cool Hand Luke. I'm not much of a fan of the journalist writing this piece but Donn Pearce sounds like a pretty exciting guy.
I think it's awesome that he named all his sons after parts of sailing ships.
